What is your biggest goal this calendar year?
Our goal as an organization was to grow our Hospital Partnerships from 20 to 40.
What are a couple of examples of comprehensive care that you offer?
Comprehensive care starts immediately, even before loss with training of healthcare professionals. We provide remembrance carts in the hospital with special keepsakes and books for families to use to make memories with their baby while they still can. When they leave the hospital, we provide support with memorial and funeral expenses for families in Pennsylvania. We have online and in-person support groups that are free for families. We provide support with individual therapy after
loss. We host free Mother's Day, Father's Day and Sibling Day events.
Do you remember the exact moment you knew you wanted to do something bigger in memory of Adalyn?
In the hospital room after I delivered her, she was stillborn, we went to our hospital room on another floor of the hospital because uh I was still being monitored for different things ... my husband pushed his hospital couch up to my hospital bed and in between crying and holding each other, we said we wanted to help other families that had to go through this. We didn't know what it would look like but that one day we would.
