2021 was the first year we did this fundraiser and I LOVED IT! So, we are bringing it back! Two social media posts I made stick out when thinking about this book drive ...

"I got to spend the morning with Sara Shaver Ringle at Forget-Me-Not Baskets yesterday! I always love my time spent with her.
This year, the Be Like The Willow Movement members had the opportunity to sponsor “We were gonna have a baby, but we had an Angel instead” books to be donated in memory of Willow to Aultman Hospital. Our final total was 77 books! Even better, on top of that, Forget-Me-Not Baskets MATCHED our number!!
So, 77 books are headed to Monica Smith Coventry at the Aultman Birth Center and the remaining 77 books will be shipped to hospitals in need with Willow’s name in them! This book was a HUGE game changer in the hospital when my 4 year old niece came to visit and we had to share the news with her that Willow would not be coming home with us. It’s hard for an adult to fathom this news, let alone a young child.
Thank you so kindly for your generous support with this new fundraiser. It is now one of my favorites. We appreciate you and your giving hearts. Without you, this donation would not be possible."
and the second post, which I tear up every time I watch it ...

" Will you sponsor a book or two?
Have you ever had one of those days? The ones where you just can’t. That was yesterday for me. I just couldn’t put into words how to share the importance of this book.
The days following Willow’s delivery were a bit numbing. The thought of having to tell everyone we weren’t bringing her home, was one of the hardest and conflicting emotions I have ever felt.
Watching her wipe her eyes that filled with tears as her mom, Heather Dunlap read each page, was so heartbreaking and also such a relief. It was one less thing I had to try to “figure out” … HOW to tell her. Another gift from Forget-Me-Not Baskets that I never would’ve thought I needed, but one I can’t imagine the experience without.
Little kids comprehend more than we realize. So, I thought now that my daughter, Ruby, is a little older, we should read the book together. And that’s just what we did today
PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE consider sponsoring a book (or two or three) for these families. The books will be donated to Aultman Birth Center at Aultman Hospital, where Willow was delivered.
To make it even better, Forget-Me-Not Baskets will be matching the amount of books sponsored! "
